Over two years, Kimzin Creative is co-producing ASAMBLEA’s programming and overseeing the distribution of $500,000 in Hewlett Foundation funds, guided by a grantmaking roadmap co-designed by local artists. The initiative focuses on four priority areas: economic opportunity, access to space, education, and health and wellness. Through this work, LA ASAMBLEA will award ten $30,000 artist grants and host at least 15 events—including monthly gatherings, workshops, and annual wellness fairs—to advance equity and support over 1,000 underrepresented artists across the region.
