CASA de LA Cultura: Free Summer Camps

Arts Programming

about the project

Now in its fifth year, CASA de la Cultura Summer Arts Camps are a vibrant collaboration between La Luz Center and Kimzin Creative, offering seven weeks of free, high-quality arts programming for local youth each summer.

As part of La Luz Center’s larger cultural initiative, these camps use the arts to celebrate Latinx heritage, foster identity, and build bridges across communities. Camps include Mariachi & Folklórico, Film, Visual Arts, Cooking, and Ceramics—each designed to help youth explore Latinx culture, express themselves creatively, and deepen community connection through the power of the arts.
